Physical Therapy for the Family
Future Family Center, LLC is a physical therapy clinic geared towards helping all members of the family be the best version of themselves. We do this by helping them understand physical changes associated with development and aging and optimizing movement for pain free physical health and wellness. We help people via an individualized movement plan for each patient. We are Physical Therapy and Wellness to Move You Forward!
Kayla Mowdy, Owner
I am first a Child of God. I am a helper, learner, and I am always looking for my next challenge in life and my career. My adult life has been marked by milestones of becoming a PT first, then a wife, then a mom. I have 3 children and 2 Physical Therapy clinics (and a very supportive husband)!
I built my first clinic, Future Physical Therapy in Foley AL, in 2020 to increase the availability of Pelvic Health services into an area that is not only lacking in availability of these services, but also has little knowledge of what exactly a Pelvic Floor PT does for our patients.
In 2023, we moved home to Meridian MS and have opened Future Family Center, Physical Therapy & Wellness, to provide excellent physical therapy care with a wellness mindset to those living in Meridian and surrounding areas. With this clinic we will be impacting lives in all areas of physical therapy, from birth to advanced age, but my specialty in Pelvic Health Physical Therapy and NOW Lactation counseling will be my personal primary focus at this clinic.
Jenna Smith, Physical Therapist Assistant
I’m a Physical Therapist Assistant with a passion for helping people regain strength and independence. Born and raised in Meridian, MS, I completed my PTA degree at Meridian Community College, graduating in 2021. My career began in a PRN role within a swing bed setting, where I learned the importance of making a meaningful, positive impact on the lives of those I work with.
Family is at the heart of my life. I’m a proud wife and mother to my two wonderful children—a daughter and a son—and I prioritize a healthy work-life balance so I can be there to create memories with them. In my free time, you’ll often find us spending time together or exploring new places. My favorite travel destinations are the beach and the mountains; I love the excitement of seeing somewhere new and taking in the beauty of different landscapes.
Through my work, I strive to bring compassion, encouragement, and a commitment to helping others. I’m grateful for the opportunity to make a difference each day.
Katherine Montone, Office Coordinator
Hi, I’m Katherine! 🥰 I’m so excited to be the newest member of the team and to take on my role as Office Coordinator! I’m looking forward to meeting new people, building relationships with our patients, and helping create a welcoming and positive environment in the office.
A little about me: I’m a huge animal lover, and my pets are definitely a big part of my life! 🐾 Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and the people I’m closest to and creating memories. I’m someone who loves being around good people and always tries to bring a positive attitude wherever I go.
I’m so grateful for the opportunity to be part of this team and excited to learn, grow, and see where this new chapter takes me!

Future Physical Therapy - The Original
Future Physical Therapy and the team in Foley, AL continue to do amazing things to serve the gulf coast with access to specialty care for pelvic health conditions. The team consists of 4 clinicians and our Office Administrator who keeps everyone, including Kayla, in line.
Future Physical Therapy has been an amazing learning adventure over the last 5 years and will continue to thrive as a sister company to Future Family Center.
